The purpose of this paper is to outline a quality improvement plan to address the rates of worsening pain in the elderly with dementia and other forms of cognitive impairment in the Veterans Centre (VC) at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Introduction to Quality Improvement Plan Before any quality improvement plan (QIP) can be developed, the overall aim of the project must be determined to ensure the QIP stays on track. Oftentimes, blacks are associated with being criminals, villains, gangs, troublemakers, street people, mobs, sidekicks or subordinates in TV performances.
